Choose the direction, time, days, meeting point and available seats. An offer can repeat weekly or be linked to a school event.
Four steps, then the road is yours.
OnArriveBien relies on your school to bring the right families together, then lets you organise each journey at your own pace. Here is what happens, step by step.
Your school gives you access
Your account is created by the school, one by one or in bulk. Only families it has invited can join: nobody signs up from outside.
You receive a temporary ID and password. The first time you sign in, you replace them with your own before reaching your space.
You introduce your family
Add your children and their year group, then your address. It is turned into a position on our servers and only used to work out distances.
No other family can see your address. On the map, your journeys appear as an area, a 500-metre circle by default whose centre is shifted.
You offer or look for a journey
Offer seats in your car or post a request: to school, back home, a single date or every week, or for an event published by the school.
Offers are ranked by distance first, then by time, then by year group. The most useful ones for you come first.
You make arrangements
Every journey has its own conversation. You agree on the meeting point, time and seats, then the seat is accepted.
The journey then appears in both families’ calendars. If a date is cancelled, participants are told in their space. You can block a parent or report a message at any time.
From a need to a shared journey
You stay in control at every step: post an offer, look for a seat, talk and follow the agreed dates.
Families at your school browse nearby offers and requests. Before an agreement, they see a distance and approximate area, not the exact meeting point.
Use the conversation to confirm times and seats. You can offer or request a seat there and share your phone number only if you choose to.
Once a seat is accepted, the journey appears in the calendar. Changes and cancellations for a date are shown to affected participants.
Before you set off
Can I post a single journey?
Yes. You can arrange a one-off trip to or from school, a recurring journey, or transport for a school event.
Does the app reserve a seat automatically?
No. It connects families; parents confirm availability and details in the conversation.
Do I pay through OnArriveBien?
No. Journeys are free and OnArriveBien handles no payments between families.
What if a journey changes?
The driver can change or cancel a date. Affected people see the change in their calendar and alerts.
